“Shiok Burger demonstrates strong capabilities in standardizing new-style fast food, developing locally relevant and innovative products, with the potential to scale across Southeast Asia.” — Helen Wong, Managing Partner, AC Ventures.
Since its debut in December 2023, Shiok Burger has rapidly grown to 13 stores across Singapore, with its flagship outlet at The Seletar Mall. The brand has recorded 12 consecutive months of growth, with stores delivering strong sales and achieving profitability. Positioned as “Oriental Burger Made in Singapore,” the brand fuses authentic Asian flavors with freshly baked buns. Bestsellers like the Black Pepper Crab Burger and Spicy Mala Chicken Burger are especially popular among youth, with 65% of customers aged 18–35 and a high repurchase rate of close to 50%. Shiok Burger is now recognized as Singapore’s top brand in the “mala burger” category.
Funding will be used for:
â–ª Expanding the central kitchen to support 30+ outlets
â–ª Opening new stores and upgrading digital systems
â–ª Talent acquisition and franchise support system development
All Shiok Burger stores are HALAL certified, and the brand enjoys widespread engagement on TikTok, Xiaohongshu, and Instagram. Hashtag #ShiokBurger has already surpassed 500,000 views, earning it the reputation as “the burger brand most likely to go viral.”
